Waiting for the Last Train:

There are no holidays in prison. It is anticipation each day for another chance to live; another chance to survive this existence. It is waiting, and we will do it for the rest of our lives.. My life did not end because a jury sentenced me to death. It began in earnest. From now on my choices must be carefully looked at with an eye for a future, even if that future is uncertain.
